Hi everyone,
I have a 2019 PHEV, here on Vancouver island, BC.
My use case is mostly 15KM to work and back and the occasional road trip so I really don't care much about the on road performance of my tires. What I do care about is their ability to shed snow and have good grip on wet sometime muddy back country, steep, forest roads. Oh, and I couldn't care less if they add some highway road noise.
Now before all the naysayers get all would up. I know it is not a 4x4, I own a "real" 4x4, but I still use my phev in the backwoods and need it to at least be able to get me across a diagonal drainage rut in the road and up/down a steep muddy/snowy hill, which with the stock tires, it is certainly not capable of doing.
I also sometime tow a tiny (like 12' long) camper that just squeezes in below the towing capacity.
I am contemplating Yokohama Geolander G015's (235/60/R18)
I have also heard of Falcon Wild Peak A/T trail
BF Goodrich
Cooper Discover AT
Do you all have any recommendations, experience with one or more of these tires?
I am not ready to do a lift yet but may contemplate it in the future.
