Strange icon?

Hi, new to forum and proud new owner of 1 year old 4h...only had 10 days and no problems but two questions....
1) after about the sixth day, each time I switch on and switch off, an icon appears on the centre console. It is the plug then the colon : sign....no numbers and no ___ or ...? It is not in the manual and I emailed a picture of it to the dealer and he has no idea! Happens when car is charged or part charged, the charging doors are definitely closed! Not affecting performance but I'm curious to know what it might be!
2) why am I not getting any average mpg coming up on the display, just lines? It was there when I picked it up but not any more!

Maybe you are doing better that 99.9 mpg and the previous owner wasn't?

Welcome to the forum.

In answer to your questions:

1) the car will indicate how much time it needs to charge, but it does need about a minute or so to work it out (after you plug it in). You need to open a door for it to be displayed on the dash though

2) mpg above 100 mpg will always show as --.-, on MY< 16. Take it aS a complement - you are doing a great job
