Badges & DAB query

Emergency services will never look at badges. They retrieve the car type online from the registration number.

What a touching faith in technology - never been in a mobile blackspot (perhaps not in the Low Country :lol: ) or computer crash :?:

It is still their protocol. There are too many cars with swopped or removed badges around.

My rego in AUS has no mention of the electric drive components. Just the 2.0L petrol engine. Must be a EURO thingy.

Quite possible. In comparison we Europeans are wimps. We have this irrational fear of cutting through 300V cables and we don't wrestle with twenty foot Crocs.
