Has anyone installed an after market Remote Monitor/Starter on there 2023 TO 2025 Outlander PHEV?

Since it seems impossible to remote start the Engine with the MyConnect App, owners of these Models have no choice but to physically start the car at temperatures lower than -15' to heat up the Cab since tge Heat Pump no longer functions at this and lower temperatures.

So... would it not be great to have a Remote Monitor/Start to use on our cars?

I found this info on reddit.

I tried to copy tge text but not able to so here is the link to.

I would not be comfortable with installing any device that consumes any power when the vehicle is turned off.

Especially in the cold conditions where you live.

True but these devices usually operate on 12V system. The 2022 to 2025 have a DC to DC Inverter to allow tge High Voltage Battery to Charge tge 12v system unlike older models that charge up at a given time everyday.

I am actually leasing my 2024, so I would never consider installing one of these but this device may be an option for others that bought their vehicle out right.

I would suggest of course that more research be done to see if there is some sort of protective Circuit to prevent drawing too much power from the 12V Battery
