Hi
I’ve been searching & ‘learning’ for about 6 months, and just reserved a nice 2021 Dynamic (4H) hopefully pick it up next week.
Got 2 grandkids born a week apart (20 mths) who are hard to manoeuvre into the back of our lovely CLK convertible, so we decided to get something easier to live with!
(Outie is narrower than CLK, and only 100mm longer).
I’m an ex Avionics Engineer, then flew as Cabin Crew for 38yrs, now a Domestic Electrician, (and handyman for all the family 😂.)
Caron will drive it mostly (Mrs FS) as I’ve got a van for work. 95% of her journeys will be on electric, so this should be ideal.
I’ll try and find answers, but thanks in advance for answers to questions I pose.
Can’t wait to get our hands on it 🎉

Welcome to the forum mate. We've only had our 2024 Outlander GT for 3 1/2 months and the members here have been very helpful in learning all the ways it works. We also drive on electric only, most of the time, but the ICE will kick in occasionally if the heater and such are on for a while. And, of course, on longer trips it's going to burn some petrol.
We only drive between 20 and 50 kms a day usually, and a full charge is giving us about 90 kms on electric only. We charge it on std 120 volts every 3 three days for about 10 or 12 hours at a cost of about 40 cents, so basically free.
And we put about 40 litres of petrol in the tank about every 6 weeks from the longer driving trips we do.
Cheers.
Dave
