Hello, new to the forum. Not sure where to post this so I've posted it here and in Batteries. Apologise for the duplicating.
I wish to place my 2024 Outlander PHEV in storage in a lowly heated garage (5 deg C) for 4 months:
1. What precautions should I take?
2. How should I leave the car wrt drive battery charge level?
3. How about the aux 12V battery (I'm thinking of connecting a battery maintainer to it switched on once every 7 days for an hour or so)?
4. What about the brakes? In park they are engaged and I worry about them rusting/seizing onto the discs. Can I leave the car in neutral?
5. What about tires and suspension? Should I jack the car up off the floor?
6. Any other suggestions?
