I don't want to drag up old moans and groans about this never ending debate. I own a 2020 4hs.2.4l 13kwh battery. The reported SOH via the 'Dog' app tells me I have 72% SOH which is consistent with its age and the imposed degradation algorithm.
I spoke to a kind Mitsubishi service tech and he reported that new these vehicles got about 28miles on pure electric. Cell charge ranged from 4.1 full to 3.8 ish empty.
In the real world I get 28miles and have got over 34miles before in warmer weather, albeit dark and raining. Clearly this does indicate that the SOH of the battery is still pretty close to that advertised so I will not be faffing around trying to reset it. I believe Mitsubishi spent much time and money creating this system so why are we moaning.
The Tech did tell me that the cars he had in to do a dbcam and reset were only getting 15miles on a charge so there are clearly a few issues with a few cars.
I have a screenshot from the dog from a full to empty cycle and without any reset it shows the battery was empty at 3.85v per cell, however if you read the data closely it does show the minimum observed cell voltage below that at 3.6v.
In summary Mitsubishi have done a good job designing the software to protect the top end of the battery and the bottom end. Unless you have serious range issues and you vehicle is out of warranty I would let it do its thing.
