No sound from audio system

Hello there,

and happy 1st of May :lol: .

Currently, I'm slightly less than happy :evil: .

Yesterday evening while driving home all of a sudden I had NO sound whatever from the otherwise excellent Rockford Fosgate audio system.

At first I suspected a power cut at the local radio station I was listening to, but no - all stations, all bands, all sources were totally silent.

I hoped that shutting down the PHEV would reset everything - but this morning it was the same. Total silence :? .

The weird thing is that the unit works perfectly - it's only the sound that is missing.

I suppose it's the fuse of the amplifier that has blown - but the manual doesn't quote any particular fuse for the amp - and #17 ("radio") is OK.

I will bring it into the dealership tomorrow - but maybe one of you have an idea where to search for this :!: fuse.

A little bit difficult to remember back four years and almost four months, but I think the headunit was replaced, and it took a while to arrive...... - and had to be matched to the Outlander.

How did you resolve the sound issue?
Having the same problem - randomly the sound disappears and it can take days to come back or minutes

I can see in here in 2014 and 2018 two people had the same issue.
Please help!
