How strong is the Outlander PHEV battery case/cover?

Hi all,

Looking to get a skid plate for my Outlander PHEV battery. I have the opportunity to purchase the skid plate used in the Rebelle Rally, but my question is how resistant is the battery casing? Will it hold up to rocks getting kicked up from driving on rough terrain?

I am not talking about impactive my underside with rocks more of just driving on corrugated and rough surfaces.

The car has been tested extensively by the manufacturer and third parties in similar conditions, seems to perform well overall!
