Funny... my car seems to have some of the features of all of those french versions... but none of them matches fully :)
Unless yours is a French market model, why would you expect it to?

Each market has a product planner that submits specs that they think are suitable for their market from a list of available possibilities. Each market will therefore more than likely be different from others.

I get that :) It just seems quite an overkill to build such different spec models for each market.

I have a issue with my Outlander too. I have not tried any of the tips mentioned yet.

Problem: No heat at all. But the pipe from the small pump is hot ( nr 4 and 6 on the drawing) and the return line (nr 3) is cold when the engine is running.

So what is my issue here and how to fix it? Is it the small pump that is faulty or the smal filter in the hose?

I believe that depending on your model, you may not have any in-hose filter, for example my 2018 PHEV does not have it.
For what it's worth, I had same issue, and it was the valve that had to be replaced. After that, heats great!

Which valve ?
I had replaced : 4 line thermostat, pump, for new, clean up all system , claps checked , temperature sensor in and out and still have no heating . No issues on OBD ether . NO idea at the moment what is wrong

Heater water valve (four-way valve) in my case, but seriously... it could be so many reasons as far as I see on forums... not to mentions idiotic per country model differences...

Hi, thanks for the interesting help on the PHEV heating problems.
I've a 2019 PHEV 4H model.
Recently the Aux battery flattened leaving me stuck due to all error lights on.
Managed to jump off and with running has been OK for the past 4 weeks.
this week with the weather temp drop I noticed no hot air for demist / cabin temp low.
Heater control panel working. Blower etc. working.
I've read the helpful advice from NRayanov to try the flap[ valve etc.
To diagnose and fix your heating issue, you need to carry out some steps:

1. There could be stuck airflaps. To reset/fix this, you need to put the car into ACC2 mode, push AUTO on the HVAC controls, and then press the MODE button 20 times, pausing for about 5 seconds between each press.

>> could you explain the ACC2 mode?

Could it be related to a failing Aux battery (I've noticed the ICE starts more frequently at traffic lights, thinking demand from Aux for more charge time)
my wife has same vhecile MY18 and hers definately doesnt switch to ICE as frequently.

Thanks in advance.
Jon.
