recently, i had to use the 3rd row in my Outlander for the first time over the weekend and decided to try it out myself. For reference, I’m about 5'8". I moved both the front and 2nd-row seats forward to a still comfortable position, and I was surprised that the legroom in the 3rd row was actually decent.
But the headroom? Not so much. The headliner in the 3rd row is moulded downwards for some reason, and it’s hollow inside because I can push up into it. Sitting back there, I had to keep my neck bent the whole time. it’s that bad. I remember in the previous generation Outlander, I could sit upright in the 3rd row without an issue.
Has anyone else run into this problem?
Or has anyone tried altering the 3rd row headliner to increase headroom? Would love to know if anyone has found a solution!
