Apparently in March of 2025 Mitsubishi is presumably releasing a New PHEV to Europe with a 22.6kWh Battery.

Some new Videos are appearing on YouTube but none that I have viewed mention anything on whether the latest Model will be outfitted with a Battery Heater or if the New model will have a Battery Thermal Management System like the pre 2023 Models had.

Please feel free to comment on any other improvements you may learn about the up coming 2026 Models

This link contains extremely important information on the need to use a Battery Heater on the Battery Pack. Why Mitsubishi decided not to use a Battery Heater on the 2023 to 2025 Models, was and continues to be a very big mistake.

I heard that the 2026 PHEV Outlander (in Europe/Asia, 2027 for USA) will also have a major horsepower boost to near 300hp, putting it right next to the RAV4 Prime. One of the guys at the dealership I just purchased my 2025 from told me this. It's still not confirmed but he said it's what he has been hearing.

Here is the official website:

Of course the only disadvantage of that link is that it is in Japanese.
Open it using Google Chrome, then there is an icon to the right of the address for Google Translate that you can use to switch it to English.
The features that look really nice to have are the digital rearview mirror and the larger battery capacity (in my opinion).

Thank you for the link.

Just looked through the Website linked above and the 2026 foes look like a nice car.

Pros:

1) 5 Seat Option
2) Larger Battery 22.7 kWh
3) Front Ventilated Seats, Rear Heated

Cons:

1) No indication of a Battery Heater
2) My Connect does not start the ICE
3) Nothing on the Charging Port.

We will have to wait until more information is released to hopefully get answers yo these questions
