Anyone able to help with problems connecting my 2014 outlander PHEV to the app.
I have tried many times but are still stuck at step 2 "Set up your vehicle and wireless device so they can be registered".
Every time i go through the proccess there is no buzzer at the end and no wifi device visable afterwards to connect to. I have tried both the standard procedure as outlined in the manual and also tried the reset procedure where you have to turn on the hazards but neither result in any beeps or enable the wifi. I suspect there is a fault somewhere but have no idea where to start looking and realy would rather avoid paying the dealer half the value of the car to look at it for me given i would only want to use this feature for a couple of months in the year. Also just to clarify my car is supposed to have the feature as it is a GX4h and not the GX3h.
Is any one fimiliar with how the wifi works i.e. is it part of the head unit or is it its own module and if its a module where i might find it? (both physicaly and on the CAN bus)
