As I am looking to buy a GX4 this autumn. If it is true I better get moving.

PS this is my first post so be gentle with me.
 
They have a long history of tightening the requirements to receive the grant and other incentives, so I would not be surprised. We were early adopters of the Toyota Prius and got a grant of several thousand pounds plus benefits like low BIK, low road tax and Congestion Charge exemption. Our Prius produced close to 100gm CO2/km and is no longer eligible for any of those benefits. As the Outlander becomes popular, they will almost certainly drop the CO2 limit, or require longer EV range.

The scheme is due to be reviewed in May, but as yet no one knows whether the subsidy will be extended.

It looks like the Outlander PHEV will be cat 2, so you can hope to get something.
