I don't have one either.

It is probably something that varies by year and country of first sale.

My 2020 model has a whining sound when I reverse. People certainly take notice when I reverse out of a parking spot at a shopping mall. It is NOT a 'beep beep' like truckes

Hmm...

I should check if mine makes the quiet 'oobly-oobly' sound (AKA the Cylon sound) when I'm in reverse. (i.e. the sound it makes going forward up to 60 km/h).

It's very hard to hear from inside the vehicle, so will have to enlist support.

But it definitely doesn't make the kind of sound associated with reversing trucks, heavy vehicles etc.

I don't have back up warning sound

My 2019 has a loud buz when backing up. I think it mandatory for all EVs in Canada. It also makes that sound, but less intense, in drive when I first start out.

I have same noise. I bought 2022 used car. As soon as I get the key from dealer, I drove it to the Mitsubishi Service Center and they say it is a kind of alarm to pedestrian to notice there is a car moving near you. I think new rule to EV cars. This is new to me, too.
