Hi

I have purchased 2014 phev and when I start the car I hear the vacuum pump start working and the brake pedal start to be "softer" then the pump stops and steady (after reaching full pressure).

Immediately after moving about 1 meter the pump start working again and it is feeling like vacuum leak (not sure) I don't hear hiss sound like a leak.

does someone head vacuum leak on the outlander phev?

Thanks

Same here. A 2014 model. Brake pedal softens only after car start. Extensive testing didn't reveal any leaks. However vacuum drops to zero in less than 1 hour.

Any updates with this?

Check the electrical components related to the vacuum pump and its control system. A faulty sensor or wiring could be causing intermittent operation. While minor vacuum pump leaks might not be a major concern, excessive leaks can lead to problems.
