Sirius XM problem

My free 3 months has expired of Sirius XM Now I have no weather, traffic, stocks etc info. It says my subscription has expired, but my former subscription has kicked in and the stations all play. Sirius said I had to upgrade my basic subscription. They tried to do it, but it would not work. They say it must be a hardware problem in the radio......???? Anyone else seen that?

Or have the dealer look at it. That's weird. Or, could it be because of the car's general software? Maybe there is an update pending for it.
