The service engine soon light just came on after an oil change. Car is driving perfectly and mechanic was first rate. Any thoughts? I’m trying to go somewhere and have the codes run so that the light can be reset. Any thoughts are welcome.

No new gasoline.
It worked!! I unscrewed the gas cap and put it back on and the light didn’t come back on. What the..? Why did that fix it?
Good! It worked for me twice over the last 3 years when I got that service engine light & re-turned the gas cap a few turns! It worked on my other Lexus RX too. The new pressure may be?

my tip when charging try and have it plugged in and power on at around 2PM
(I start 1:30 till I think its ok?)
it makes sure your 12v is charged WITHOUT taking the boot floor out & disconnecting it! I do it once or twice a week IT IS 10 years old now same battery!
IT saved me from buying a new 12V battery! NO ONE knew!

I try to charge my 12V batteries of all cars at least once a month with my battery charger at home.
