Presumably Reverse only uses the motor(s)? Can you go as fast in Reverse on the motors as you can Drive, i.e. 70mph? Anyone tried it?

that is an interesting thought, as of course no gearbox to limit.

Perhaps this could be the PHEV's new sporting speciality, reverse drag racing.

It's the sort of thing Top Gear could do on their airfield .

I seem to remember reading that the PHEV is electronically limited to 15 mph in reverse, which would spoil the 'fun'.
