Hey guys just curious if anyone has been successful using PHEV Watchdog on a 2023 model.

I've tried 3 different OBD readers both WiFi and Bluetooth and the Watchdog program see's the reader but only responds with elevation and time on line. What's puzzling is I can read over a dozen parameters using Car Scanner App with the same readers.

Thanks in Advance - Mike

Hi Mike,

Your best bet is to contact the creator of the app directly (via the app store), but, I think he is not maintaining it.

Thanks looks like a lot of stuff was changed in 23 - I'll get by using CaScanner for now it gives me engine temps, RPM, HV, 12 Volt etc.

Mike did you ever get an answer from the developer. Has MM encrypted the data or something?

I did contact the developer,on June 14, 2024 via the app store link. No reply yet. I had been using PHEV Watchdog shortly after I got my 2018 PHEV. Worked so well that I had donated some funds to the Developer.

PHEV Watchdog no longer works on my 2024 PHEV and thanks to this Thread I realized that the issue was not with my OBD2, although it had been working off and on. Was using the OBDLink LX

Started using Car Scanner App and it is working erratically so I have ordered another OBB2 Bluetooth device.

Sure hope that Developer of the PHEV Watchdog considers to continue supporting the newer 23/24 Models.

I would download a paid version, once available.

The developer's website at https://phevwatchdog.net/ says Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (up to 2021).
