Congrats! Any issue in starting the car during this cold weather?View attachment 1598
My wife (and I) bought our 1st Hybrid vehicle!
It is a: Mitsubishi/Outlander PHEV/2024
In Canada they call this trim SEL (it is the 1st trim that includes the 20 inches wheels and leather with heated seats front and back)
Modifications: None at this point.
If I may make a suggestion.View attachment 1598

When I had my 2018 PHEV I was tempted to buy snowtires, because car was sometimes hard to control on icy roads but when I got my 2022, the Snow Mode handle the Icy, snow covered roads beautifully and safely, even with All Season tires. If I may make a suggestion.
If buying winter tires, consider latest tech all weather tires, with the mountain peak certification. No tire changes for a while
The issue here in Quebec is that the mountain peak designation, 3PSC, is required by law. No 3psc and get into an accident, you could have an insurance issue on your hands. When I had my 2018 PHEV I was tempted to buy snowtires, because car was sometimes hard to control on icy roads but when I got my 2022, the Snow Mode handle the Icy, snow covered roads beautifully and safely, even with All Season tires.
Now that I have a 2024, I will be checking to see how well it handles snow and ice in Snow Mode. I have only had this car since April 8, 2024
We just had our 1st snow fall this past week-end in Winnipeg.
