Is anyone having trouble with their My MITSUBISHI CONNECT app?
Mine has stopped working since the beginning of February 2025 and I have contacted customer service and I’ve had numerous emails with tech guys that don’t seem to be able to solve the problem.
It is not updating at all after following tech guys solutions.
Just wondering whether other people are having this problem.
The app has been fairly unreliable since I got my Mitsubishi outlander PHEV 2023.
I certainly would not pay for it when my trial is up.
If other people are having a problem as well, it would be good to report it to customer service.
I also think the app should have a feature to start the gas engine when the weather is too cold for the heat pump to work.
 
I have a 2025, new to Mitsubishi and PHEV'S and found the app to be glitchy. I don't know what to compare it to because this whole experience is new to me. Sometimes it reports that my doors are unlocked, when they are locked and other times it states it can't lock or unlock the car.....but it does actually perform the function, though reports it couldn't. I have not contacted customer support because I wasn't sure if it was user error.

I also have a 2025 and had similar issues, customer support was able to fix it up remotely for me. It took a couple days to resolve the issue, but I was given a ticket number and addressed very promptly.

Great! Thank you for the info! The on board navigation also does not recognize my home as a real address. I'll give tech support an email for both issues!

I may be able to help with the latter, because I used to work with addresses...

There are many circumstances where a person's address is not what they think it is.

Typically it will be because a suburb boundary is not in the expected place.

(In Australia, suburb boundaries often run down the centre of a road, so homes either side of the road will be in different suburbs, for example.) Other cases involve land being on an adjoining road even though the driveway doesn't touch that other road. Very often, a home's street number won't be the same as the property's legal definition.

If you can get access to some good mapping/address software, you may find that you have a different 'real address' that the navigation can recognise, that can be saved as 'home'.

I live in a newly built townhouse and have learned that many organizations have trouble with my address. Even Amazon struggled. I was thinking of doing what you suggested and setting the pizza place around the corner as my home destination.

Your property will have a 'real' or 'official' address, but sometimes they're incredibly hard to find.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the kind of software I used to use for that stuff.

A mapping database that shows the 'cadastral' layer is what is needed.

If there is a mapping/GIS person at your local government offices, they may be able to find it for you.

Here in South Australia, all our tram stops have fake 'addresses' so that taxi drivers can find them via GPS. (The addresses are all of nearby houses, because the tram line in the suburbs runs between suburb boundaries, in an address free zone.)

Ours also stopped working in February but I suspect it was due to the trial period ending since we bought in Feb of 2023. We will NOT pay to renew! Never could get the garage door function to work right!!
