Hi there,

I have come on this website again for help. Previously I posted about the same concern but the problem is still there but there has been an update. From the beginning :

I brought this vehicle from auction (mistibushi outlander PHV 2014) a year ago, as soon as I collected the vehicle I checked that the engine wasn't starting at all, it ran on electric mode. I checked the engine at that time and the dip stick showed the engine oil very greasy and low. I topped up oil, as I was trying to get the engine started, but the engine didn't start at all. It made beeping sound ( like the generator is being kicked) but engine didn't start, however there wasn't any engine management light on the dashboard then. After that I neglected the vehicle for a year as I had to go abroad. The latest update is from last night when I tried again with the car, the engine apparently started, it made a very weird sound like something is broken inside but the engine was still running, the sound was so aggressive. I Assumed there was no oil inside the engine and I checked the oil level again and the oil level was sufficient but it was thick and engine turned off itself , and I started the engine again, a message came on the dashboard "low oil pressure",

As I brought this vechile from an auction, I didn't get any service history. As I got this vehcile the oil level was greasy with insufficient oil level - maybe the electric oil pressure pump was blocked?
I also don't know about the vehcile history, maybe someone used the wrong fuel in it before?
Can someone advise me I have no idea. If the electric oil pump is faulty or needs to be replaced or cleaned is there any guidance you can give me? How I can solve this problem in low cost?

I have uploaded a part picture which used to beeping and vibrating.
And a video for better quality understanding.

I'm pretty sure the part you've photographed with the red circle around it is the braking system vacuum pump, as myself and some other people selling used ones on Ebay have previously misidentified this part (they still do on Ebay) as the electric heater system pump, which it's not. There is an electric oil pump somewhere but I'm not sure where it's located in the engine bay. If you look on Ebay you'll see some for sale. Hopefully somebody better informed than me will tell you more.

Thanks reply and advice appreciated

There is no electric oil pump for engine oil, the pump is in the sump and is a combined balancing shaft/oi pump assembly.
