So - having just got the car back from accident repair - I was in a car park today. - and thanks to it being pretty empty - was able to see the car from about 10 metres away - and noticed from the silhouette that something was hanging down from the under carriage just behind the front passenger door. Having a crawl around - it seems to be a rubber strap or tube of some sort - it doesn’t have any wiring in it that I can see.
I am assuming it’s a grounding strap that has come loose any ideas what it’s for and where it’s from? I’m surprised the accident repair garage didn’t notice or mention it (although it could well have been like that for quite some time).
Any thoughts/suggestions as to what it is and how to fix it before I go back to the garage?
