Just to add - The display changes to "auto" every time you power up and you need to just toggle to "manual" by pressing on the screen - it will retain the data since the last manual reset - just because it now says "auto" doesn't mean you've lost the data.

The only data it retains in Manual Mode is L/100km, all the rest (EV Average etc) is always reset when the car has not been driven for more than 4 hours....

"A" resets every time the cars is switched off for more than 4 hours. "M" is only reset 'on demand'. What you could do is make sure you are looking at the "M" score (easiest to use MMCS for that, as MMCS allows you to do that even when the engine is already started up and such) and reset it when you fill up the tank. Then, check the "M" score again on the next fill-up.
