Test drove the Phev this Wednesday afternoon at a Mitsubishi dealer loved it and decided to buy by 5pm that day. I had done my research and decided to go with a 4h in grey. When I asked how long delivery would be I nearly fell off the chair when told that one was immediately available, I had been stalking this forum too much!

He then proceeded to offer a very respectable discount after some mild arm twisting and threw in a protection pack (it was probably already on the car). This brought the car to very near the price of the online boys. Also a trade in deal that beat "webuyanycar" by some 14%. I also signed up for the 3 years service plan, no discount but on a separate invoice so I can reclaim the VAT, as self employed VAT registered.

All in all well chuffed, I get it tomorrow - less than 48 hrs after ordering. I can't wait, I doubt I will sleep well tonight in anticipation.

Very cool - mine was 8 days but most of that seemed to be them authorising the finance.

Loving the car - indeed the whole family love it.

That is far better than almost anyone here has been offered - perhaps he had a cancelled order? We had to wait over a month for our GX4h.

Cancelled order can be the only explanation, but result!
I have gone for the same 4h in grey, but delivery will be in a couple of weeks.

The salesman was a bit cagey as to why the car was available, but he did hint at a cancelled order/refused finance. Although he was also offering the same model in blue within 10 days and a 3h leather within 3 weeks. If I had wanted a blue 3h then I would have had to wait for the boat. Available as unallocated stock on the "Pheonix" due in on the 29th November. I think he may have had one of whites also available but that colour did not interest me.

I an confident that I have made the correct colour choice with the grey although I admit to being undecided, the availability finally swung it.

Still as you say a result and so well chuffed. Feel a bit guilty for all of you that have been waiting ages I am confident that it will have been worth the wait though.

Grey was my first choice. Best of a boring bunch.
The two whites were out because white is the `in ` colour, Reason enough.
Black was out because unless you leather after washing they look sh1te.
The light blue was out because it appears to be the most popular on this motor. I can only assume it is because many of the youtube vids and the brochure show lots of shot of it.
I saw a grey when I went for a test drive and it looked great and it should be the best at disguising dirt.
Why don`t they throw in a couple of loud colours for a bit of fun.

Don't start me off again at not being able to get the red unless I bought the diesel

Mine was in stock and unregistered at my dealers and ready for immediate delivery, which is why I have blue. Otherwise it would have been a long wait for a grey one.

I'm still not sure if I should've waited. :D

Well my new car arrived yesterday, delivered by the dealer as I had to work. Absolutely delighted with it, spent most of last night pushing buttons and trying to work out how everything works. Today it has been driven a fair bit always with a big grin on my face.

I am glad that I went for the Atlantic Grey and for the extra toys on the Gx4H. Surprisingly I have been very impressed with the reversing camera having never used one before, I had thought it was something I would not want, but now think it is great.

The reversing camera is fantastic - I find myself parking in difficult spots just so I can show off. .. I'm tempted to drive backwards to the shops sometimes.

Just wait till you try reversing at night - so easy to see behind you with the reversing camera and rear lights - so much easier than looking behind you.

I know it is great. I have a drive down the side of my house to the back door, never used to drive down it with the X-Trail, instead parking to the front.

Now that is where I am parking, nearer to my new baby, plus also the wifi reaches for the app. I am finding reversing a whole new experience! :D

Had mine delivered today... tested it in ASDA car park... basically, I reversed into a bollard because I could see it in the reversing mirror but it didn't seem close to the car.

I miss my Freelander's beeps already.

Is there any way you could briefly explain the coloured lines in a useable way (the manual made no sense). If I see a bollard behind me, for example, and the red line crosses half way up the bollard, how is that telling me to stop (or not?). I tried again, moving it forward and the image on screen looking the same. Got out, and I was about 50cm from it!

Sadly, hating this already.

If you stop when the red line on the display just meets the foot of whatever you're reversing up against, you'll be about 0.5m away from it and just have enough space to open the tailgate. Any closer than that and you need to watch the rear bumper along the bottom of the display.
