There is a difference. I tend to drive at 80-85...

Hi

Then I'd expect 26-32mpg on the engine part of the journey and if you have a similar driving style on battery then you'd probably be lucky to see 20 miles in EV mode. Not that you can drive that fast on battery of course.

Kind regards
Mark

It is the normal driving speed on our Motorways (130 kph max) and about the slowest safe speed on the Autobahn, where I drive from time to time as well.
I always drive on save on the motorway, it is the best way to use the car. I actually get about 45 K aka 27.5 miles from the battery.

Hi

I see, that makes sense. Do you get 27.5 miles on battery with A/C on as my 30 mile range drops to about 24 with it on (eco, light foot, mostly urban)?

Kinds regards
Mark

So let's say I was driving at 65mph no air con 20% battery, flat road. What mpg would I get on:
1, save mode
2, charge mode
Just so I can work out whether it would be worth the extra Mpg to charge the battery and have ev mode for the final 20 mile leg of the journey.

AC or heating will reduce the EV range substantially. Sometimes as much as 10 Km.

Save makes sense in this situation, charge not.
It introduces too much efficiency loss.
