Hi all
We are about to have our new car delivered. What amp GPO should we have installed to trickle charge overnight? It looks like a 15 amp is better than a 1p amp.

Any lessons learned would be appreciated as we don’t really know what we need and I can’t find a PDF copy of its manual
Much appreciated

With our new house build we ran a 32 amp cable from the house power box to a 15 amp socket on the garage wall.
The slow charger that came with the vehicle has a 10 amp plug.
Your choice.

I've just used the provided charger the whole time I've had the car through a standard outlet in my garage. Probably on a 10A circuit. Check the specs of the charger for what it needs and can actually use.

Hi I just plug into a regular socket, and the charger that comes with the car has a selectable charge rate, 6A, 8A,10A.
I found that charging at 10A makes the plug a little warm to the touch, so I select 8A before I plug in.
Overnight at 8A is still enough to fully charge the 20kw battery from zero. And less stress on the (older) house cabling.
And I set the timer in the car so that it only charges after 9pm and before 3pm - to make sure I'm using off peak rates.
The car is amazing!
