Hi, I bought a 2014 Gx3h off a neighbour with 94k miles on it in November.

Within 3 weeks I had an EV System Fault and RBS Service Required.

This went away.

4 weeks later I had the same two errors plus "Charge Disconnected due to system malfunction". Car would not charge at this point and had put itself in cripple mode.

Tested Aux battery..12v output. Cascade of errors seems related to 12v aux so replaced that at a cost of £288

Errors did not go away but it took charge again. Still drove in cripple mode.

Unhooked 12v for 15+ mins. All errors gone.

Moment I put it in drive, EV system fault again. And then back to not accepting a charge.

This is £5.6k spent for a car now worth zero inside 2 months. No garage here will look at it and anyway they've been shut for Christmas. I've been without a vehicle for over a week now. I've lost my holiday to trying to fix this piece of **** so I've had no time off either.

This the first and last post you will ever see from me. My car is broken, a failed 12v aux should not fry the ECU or contactors in the HV system, which seems to be the next port of call. That's going to be thousands I don't have to fix.

I will never buy another mitsubishi. I would advise everyone who will listen not to either.

Sounds like you need a new 12v battery. Around $400 ... search this forum, lots of discussions about them.
