I have seen the (alarming) statistics for BMW and Land Rover which say that keyless thefts are the largest risk category.
Most computer systems are hackable given time and resource, so is there a fuse, that anyone can suggest, that can be removed and put into your pocket, that would stop the movement of the car.
In the past, there used to be removable links that you configured into the starting system, this low tech method could defeat the wizkids and their decoders. Is there a signal that could be physically interrupted.
I know this is like suggesting a 'stone age' solution, or we could of course invent something like a key or steering lock!
Keyless entry and starting systems (and WiFi car hubs) seem to be convenient to thieves as well, another unintended consequence.
