Buying new 2019

I am considering buying a new 2019 outlander phev which means it has been sitting on the lot for over a year. Should I be concerned about the condition of the batteries? I live in western Washington not too cold, not too hot.

If the battery is more than 3 months old, the dealer has a special procedure to do at pre-delivery inspection regarding the battery.
