So as nobody else responded, I will share my thoughts.

While it may work if the cells get replaced with other Li NMC cells as a drop is, I doubt that this will work with LiFePO4. These cells have a far lower voltage, so you would need more cells. But the car expects to see 80 cells.

Also, the charge discharge curve looks completely different so the original BMS cannot correctly estimate the state of charge. NMC have a more sloped curve, empty at 3.6, full at 4.1V, quite linear in between.
LiFePO4 stay at 3.2V plateau practically all time unless almost overcharged or completely exhausted.

Of course, with enough engineering this can be solved, but out of reach for most.
