Well, it's not locked because you can set a default distance. Only that when you activate the ACC you can have it to start with shortest distance instead of the furthest.
I have my ACC set to the shortest 99% of the time so a setting where we owners could chosen things like this would have been good.
And as I said before. My previous cars have had all of these settings and that's why the PHEV feels like a 5-10 years older car then my older cars...
But I'm glad for your sake that you are happy with Te PHEV.
