Hi
Just got my GX3 so no DAB radio. Listen to 5live on AM a lot and it's not just Adrian Chiles but the sound quality is awful. It was bearable on my Prius sound system, bit this is more hissier etc.
Would changing the aerial help or can you get an aux in/usb dongle DAB radio?
Cheers

No idea whether you can plug it into the car.

Or try and use your phone.

My car recognizes the iPhone as an iPod through USB.

The supplied antenna is very short for MW reception, but it's hard to see how you could improve significantly on it with anything that could be mounted on the roof. It's a basic fact of physics that a good antenna needs to be a significant fraction of the wavelength of the signal - no car antenna is going to be a decent match at MW frequencies, but something that is six inches long is completely out of range. It's no coincidence that in the old days when we primarily used MW, car antennae were silver telescopic things mounted on the front wing, not little black rubber ducks on the roof!
