    Increase Battery Pack

Mixing feelings about this, but may actually work as an extender: https://evobsession.com/electric-car-battery-trailer-unveiled-nomadic-power/

Extracting useful data from your OBDII port

Ah... that's too bad :/ I'm doing some progress here as you can see bellow: Have read all your posts, including this one: http://www.myoutlanderphev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1655 Still I'm trying to gather a list of requests/responses for all that precious information we are all...

Drive battery degradation . Houston, do we have a problem?

That would make perfect sense... Managing the low buffer as the battery capacity is reducing... Or else we'll never have the opportunity to use those last 30% of SOC... And let's not forget this is a hybrid car, as long as there is petrol in the gas tank it will keep on running. I can...

Drive battery degradation . Houston, do we have a problem?

Lost about 0.7Ah in the first two months/4500kms (mine is an ex-demo car, hence the low mileage). Didn't noticed any change in range also. Daily charging doing the same daily commute of a 50kms (about 40% on motorway) round-trip. Full charge is normally above 100% (105-107%). Dash reports...

Extracting useful data from your OBDII port

Awesome topic here :) So Anko, more developments there? I'm looking into building my own monitoring solution, which would be the conventional request/response method. I've looked at the first posts and there is a lot valuable information there (thanks anko). Still, would it be possible to...

    Cost to charge (UK)

A regular socker timer will be fine as long as it matches the max current of the charge cable (16A is just right for the factory charge cable).

Drive battery degradation . Houston, do we have a problem?

Just seen that with mine the other day (that's a 10 months / 4000kms MY2016). Left it at 66%. 9h later, was showing 70% and of course increase in range. Had done 25kms in the morning well under 20ºC before I left it in the garage during all day at a cosy 21ºC-25ºC... Could it be this?

    BMU Cell voltage smoothing

Now that's interesting. Is this the cells balancing procedure done at the dealer that could increase a bit the total battery capacity?

    PHEV Battery Pack

Oh... Then forget my reply. Don't know why I thought I've read somewhere about this change... But done some search and nothings shows... My bad, sorry. Battery should be same... Maybe if you manage to get Mitsubishi's product reference for both years?

Drive battery degradation . Houston, do we have a problem?

About regeneration... Too much paddling may not be the most efficient way of driving. The car does have a lot of inertia and seems to hold better it's SOC keeping it mostly in B0. B1/B2 are great for long downhills. B5 is good for low speed driving/bumper to bumper traffic... Nice for one...

Drive battery degradation . Houston, do we have a problem?

Well mine has just lost 0.5Ah within the first month of usage... About 2000kms of daily home charges and 2000kms with only two fast charges. Before that it has just been sitting at the dealer (ex-demo car) for about 8 months and done about 700kms (from new) within that time . MMCS says, I'm...

    PHEV Battery Pack

From what I know there is at least one difference, starting from MY2016 the battery pack is modular. Capacity should be pretty much the same, not sure about assembly. By the way, wouldn't you be the same Shaun from the video bellow? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gf9fDbwF1K0

Playlist - in particilar playlist file format

Good news, it can be done! :) Check the following post: http://www.myoutlanderphev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2634&hilit=playlist I've actually automated the process and made myself a script to convert m3u playlists into wpl... Might put that online if it's worth it.

    Further adventures off road

You need to have some luck with those Chinese ELM adapters... Some are OK and others must have gone wrong in the manufacturing process. I have an old one which I think is OK (used before in previous vehicles with no problems) but since it wouldn't switch off by itself (and it's kind of huge) I...

Drive battery degradation . Houston, do we have a problem?

Yikes! That's under the estimated 80% for 5 (or is it 8?) years claim. Have you questioned Mitsubishi's services about that? Trying to do some math, 8.09kWh should be about 25Ah (8090Wh / 320v = 25,28Ah) of consumed energy. From what I've seen there should be about 8Ah to 10Ah still left in...

    LED turn signals

So, did you solve it? I'm also looking into swapping all those bulb lights.
