    Help! My PHEV won't charge...

That button bypasses any 'timers' set up in the car. It allows the car to be charged, even though it is during a non-charging period set up in the timer section of the MMCS.

    Cabin lights not working

If the replace fuse is burned out again, it's likely that you have an LED unit that has failed into a dead short/short circuit. Probably, you should check/replace the failed LED, before replacing the fuse again. BTW. Scribbling online suggests that this can occur when replacing an LED onto a...

Help me understand my PHEV's behavior.....

My best guess would be that the engine is running briefly to warm the traction battery. I understand that the latest model doesn't heat the battery, and this is causing problems for people living in the Northern USA and Canada. By your description, it would appear that your 2022 does. With...

My spare tyre solution. with photo's.

In the rear, cargo, area. You can lift the whole floor up, there's a hinged hatch that takes up about half the space, nearest the door, but also the part near the back seat lifts out easily, along with the hatch. The jack should be in one of the hollows covered by that rear floor cover.

    Help! My PHEV won't charge...

Check to see if your car has any 'timers' set up. The car won't charge, if timers have been set up to prevent it from being able to charge. Mine only charges between 3am and 8am, it doesn't matter when I plug it in, I have set up timers to make it charge between those times.

    Privacy is important BUT

It's a good thought. Similarly the model year in either the question or 'signature' of the user. Country and model year are probably the top two most important pieces of information.

Charging Schedule messed up - 2023 Outlander

Do these instructions help? It suggests that there is an 'auto' feature that will always update the time from external sources. https://www.lawrencemitsubishi.com/change-the-time-in-your-mitsubishi/

Charging Schedule messed up - 2023 Outlander

I think the sequence is: System, Clock, and it's on the first screen as "Summer Time" and has an On|Off slider.

Charging Schedule messed up - 2023 Outlander

Sorry, I can't help with your charging schedule issue. However, on my car, there is a simple check box for switching between summer time and normal time. Has this been dropped from the system in your vehicle?

    Air conditioning question

On my car, yes. Turn the temperature setting down to something lower than the current temperature, turn off the air conditioner. I think the mindset is that a person has a desired temperature and always wants equipment running to achieve that temperature, similar to the 'auto' setting on home...

    Transmission leak

Well, if they're talking about the hydraulic clutch, I can see the problem. It's deep inside the mechanism and not intended to be serviced.

    Transmission leak

Oh! Are they referring to the GKN e-Drive as a transmission?

    2014 GX4h - finding an exhaust

My generic recommendation, would be to go to an exhaust specialist. Over many years, I've seen incredibly outrageous claims from various 'dealers' about the availability or cost of spare parts. Wild examples: 1. "Impossible to replace side window, go to a wrecker", but a windscreen firm said...

    Transmission leak

Erm... Transmission? In a PHEV? I'm surprised that I haven't seen members on the forum talking about this before. When did the Outlander PHEVs get a transmission?

    Trunk Battery

I went to a specialised battery supplier (Battery World) here in Oz. They had no trouble matching the specification of the existing battery. I think you'd have similar chains in the USA that would have a larger range than an auto-parts store.

    2014 Phev washer nozzles

Oh! Good tip. I manually cleaned mine with a sewing needle, and switched to using rainwater in the washer bottle. (I also live in a hard water area.)
