2022 USA PHEV here. I'm not sure if I'm just overthinking or overlooking it, but is there a way to just blow outside air into the car without heating or cooling it ?
I can turn off the cooling by turning off the ac. How do i turn off the heating but keep the fan blowing ? It appears that the heater turns on by default if the temperature is lower than the set temperature. Is fiddling with the temperature settings the only way ?

On my car, yes.

Turn the temperature setting down to something lower than the current temperature, turn off the air conditioner.

I think the mindset is that a person has a desired temperature and always wants equipment running to achieve that temperature, similar to the 'auto' setting on home air-conditioning.

In my 2023 Outlander this works only down to 18°C/65F. Then it shows "Lo" and the AC turns on automatically. It can't be turned off as long as the temperature setting is "Lo".
