Could anyone advise where a good mounting point would be for the rear camera on the Outlander PHEV?
I presume its not suitable to attach it to the rear windscreen as the tailgate is opening/closing so not good for the wiring and not best for something onlt fixed with a sticker or suction pad...
Just saw it on iplayer and noticed him in an outlander. Saw the charge port cap on drivers side so had to be the PHEV.
He previously championed biofuel converted land rovers, good to see he's moved onto the outlander PHEV! Guess this is a better endorsement than from Borris!
Wonder if he's...
Thanks for checking that. Good to know the heating element actually consumes less than 4KW and potentially could be powered almost fully by a 16A AC charger.
Not heard issues with ChaDeMo plug, but will be worth reporting the charge point to ecotricity as could be faulty plug.

The first issue was apparently a bug/issue that Mitsubishi and recognised from other reports on this forum - The charge timer would cut off mains completely for all car functions including mains heating, rather than just not charging. Like you mention, I hadn't heard any reports about this being...
From what I gathered it was a software issue as the timer prevented the heater using the mains power if it was outside the programmed charge times. Just presuming that they would have addressed this in the newly released models. Wasn't aware it had already been fixed in the previous models so...
That's good news you mention you had a full charge after heating, as on previous models there were reports it still drained the battery when plugged in and charged with the built in timer.
Hi,
Just got a survey to fit a rolec 32A charge point from a local installer for my newly delivered gx3h+. The guy said its a straight forward installation, which would be qualify for the £195 charge, but would need to charge an extra £25 for 50A mcb (mini circuit breaker) in the consumer unit...
