You should take your battery back to Halfords for being mis-sold as an AGM. I would also say frustratingly AGM's are on the expensive side when compared to standard lead acid batteries, but if they're lasting 8-10 years it might be a worthwhile investment.

isnt the HSB053 a standard lead acid battery? ie WET vs agm? you dont really want a standard battery internal to the cockpit in the event of an accident
