He is from Yorkshire, so he may not have - it can get quite chilly there. For us down south, it's not so clear - I think that last Thursday was the first time I've driven in temperatures below 10 degrees this year and it looks like they will be back up to those levels by the end of next week - I would find it hard to justify the cost of a second set or tyres (and, possibly. rims) for a couple of weeks of cold weather!
