WiFi Range

I collected my new GX4HS on the weekend and have registered the wifi cars with my ipad. All works ok, however, once I get into my house, the wifi drops as it is slightly too far away from the car.
Has anyone successfully extended the range of the car wifi? if so, what did you use?
