What features would you like to see added to the Outlander PHEV in the future?

Rather than features I would like to see added, my wish list is to remove a feature - the 3rd row option. That is I would like to have the option not to have it in the more expensive versions. As it stands if you want an Aspire or Exceed you are forced to have the 3rd row and moreover, have to pay for it. I would never want to use it and balk at have to pay for something I don't want. Not only do I have to pay for it, I have to endure the extra weight and loose valuable storage space or the ability to have a full size spare.
On this point I have never seen an explanation of what people do with their full size tyre when it is flat. I assume we are expected to carry it in the rear compartment or on a back seat.
What is wrong with giving options. Cost saving I'm guessing.

I _think_ the reason for the compulsory 3rd row is that it now qualifies for some kind of tax/rebate incentives. I actually did try to get into that ... once

Because of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance (not a merger), Mitsi have stopped selling in Europe (including their very popular Outlander PHEV and L200 pickup). There are rumours the Outlander may return

It's a blooming outrage the best selling phev in the UK for years! WHY?
I'm gonna sulk & never buy a Nissan or Renault or any french or Japanese I maybe think it's china next!

Here is the post I did about having the dealer remove the rear seats when I bought the car. It looks like I could have easily done it myself, the only trick was making sure not to damage the cable to detect if a passenger is sitting in them. My dash now shows passengers permenently seated in the rear seats.

Good idea! How do you fix the tire to the car? Is it fixed to the plate? If so how do you fixed the plate to the floor?
