Twice now I have come down to the garage to hear a beeping noise. Walk over to the PHEV to find above the little leaf tree a triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle of it is lit. The leaf tree is lite and the park 'P' button in in front of the gear stick is also illuminated.

(Vehicle has been charged up and has finished charging hours (8+ or more earlier). There is no charger left plugged into the vehicle. There is 3/4 tank of petrol).

If I plug in charger then notice on screen says (Charging complete) and little red charging symbol illuminates. I unplug charger then all lights/beeping turn off....

Or if I press start button, then warning symbol turns off.

Was weeks in between the first time this occurred and today (2nd time). It is the first model PHEV - VRX version (top of the line).

Any ideas of why?? Thank you.

The car warns if it is switched on and the key is outside. That is justified, as you can drive off without having the key in that case.

Was this at the same time of day? If you have a model with the REMOTE network, it will recharge the aux battery from the drive battery once every 24 hrs. The car is known to make a beeping noise when this proves is going on.

With us, it happens at 2 pm.
