Speed Limiter setting

A few days ago was driving on an unlimited speed section of public road, here in Australia. Had just passed a grey nomad "caravan". Was already up to 150kph, so decided to see how fast my PHEV would go. Only got to 175kph. Got there quickly from 150kph, but no more than 175. Still a fair bit of pedal to go as well, so we seem fairly restricted. Probably won't get to test legally again on a public road for a while.

Is the limit fixed the same speed for all countries?

Yes, same here in Switzerland.
Did a quick test once here very early on a sunday morning.
It seems to be a fairly smooth and fairly quiet ride despite the high speed, though, don't you agree?

Yes, it is the same all over. The maximum speed id determined by the maximum revs of the ICE.
