I saw ads that Outlander PHEV show that I can provide power for appliance and outdoor usage.

Do anyone know the volt and the amp that the Outlander PHEV can provide.

Can I use the Outlander PHEV to charge the iMiev in emergency?

Is that a possibility?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can that is probably because there is no real difference between the Li-on batteries that are used in appliances and cars(as long they are Li-on) of course you have to use the right tools...

but as I said that should be checked because I'm not sure

If the Outlander PHEV has the ability to output 110V power for appliances, air matress pumps, whatever, than anything 110V can plug in there. So assuming you have a 110V charging cord for the iMiev, then yes you could charge it there.

It makes no difference to the Outlander PHEV what you have plugged into that socket - the only issue might be the amp output of the 110V, it would take a long time to charge your iMiev.

However, from the wording of your question it makes me think that if you get stranded somewhere with a dead battery in your iMiev, you'd have someone drive your Outlander PHEV to give you a bit of charge rather than calling a tow truck?

Thank you.
I will save money for this phev.

Does anyone know how many amperage can it out put.

I can use 8 or 12

Thx
