Phone Pairing

I'm having trouble instructing the car's "voice system" to use the in-car microphone/speaker and not my phone's. I set this correctly in the first place but since I lost the pairing and reinstated it. Now I can't locate the original screen that allows you to choose the car's system or the phone's and it's stuck on my phone!

I hope this makes sense. I can't find anything in the manuals that helps with this specifically.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Sorry but I have forgotten where that screen is on the 2018 since I now have 2024.

Have you tried unpairing your phone repairing?

Try the Search feature on the Forum, top right magnifying glass for "Pairing a phone on a 2018"

I did find a few hits.

Thanks. I did try unpairing and re-pairing but it made no difference. The selection of "phone microphone or car microphone" seems to have disappeared! I will look at the links you sent later, though.
