I am just going to buy a new outlander, and the PDi si soo expensive. They say there is much work but they refuse to tell me the tasks to perform.

Anyone knows why it is so expensive? What d they do? How long does it take to cost so much?

Where are you? In the UK PDI is standard and part of the purchase price - it should not be an "optional" item. Perhaps the salesman is just trying to extract more money from you ?

Effectively, the dealer is saying "I have checked the car and it's OK". You should not accept it without that.

Hello Peter,

Thanks for you reply. Indeed, the PDI is not optional, but it's cost is indicated separately for you to know and it's added to the cost of the car (the travel cost and other aspects are also indicated apart).

I am from Spain.

Thanks for your link, but I would like to know the exact tasks that are performed in the outlander phev. I wonder why they can't hand me the routine they follow.
