My 2016 outlander. The engine starts up every time I press the start button, even though the battery is fully charged. I can't get the car to go into EV mode.

My 2016 outlander. The engine starts up every time I press the start button, even though the battery is fully charged. I can't get the car to go into EV mode.

What is the outside Temperature when this happens?

After driving with ICE running does it ever switch over to EV Mode?

If not, after driving for a few minutes, turn off car.

Press EV Button, then Foot on Brake and press start Button.

Does it now start in EV Mode?

Have you drive it for 3 (or 6) months without using any petrol?

Do you see this message:

"Engine started to maintain fuel system"

?
