1. The car is equipped with a theft alarm.
It does appear in the MMCS menu, but it is never activated.
Is there anything to do to activate it for the first time, maybe ?
2. The navigation voice does not seem to mute the radio.
Can this be changed ? I could increase the voice volume, but that is not the point.
3. Is it possible to link the volume of any warning beeps to the radio volume ?
As it is now, the beeps get lost if the radio volume is just high enough.
4. Is it possible to see the distance warnings in the 360 degree display of the MMCS ?
Now they just appear in the multidisplay above the steering wheel, but the MMCS screen is actually what you are
looking at when backing.

I think, 3. and 4. together do make backing quite risky in some situations,
as the only indicator for the distance seems to be the way of the beeping

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm a newbie so my knowledge is limited but here's my thoughts -

1. default locking is 1 press to lock but 2 presses to double lock and activate alarm I think - I have changed settings so 1 press activates alarm and double locks for ease through the mmcs menu

2. I hated my last vehicle because it muted the radio for nav instructions usually during popmaster on Radio 2 or a news item of interest  I like the fact I can hear the radio and the instructions at the same time but no idea if it can be changed

3. You could set volumes for beeps etc on my previous LRs but not sure about the PHEV - I know there is auto volume setting - perhaps that may help

4. I have lines on the MMCS to show proximity and projected path when turning wheel - I find the 360 a bit vague and tend to rely more on rear/front and nearside mirror camera views

I don't have beepers on the 4h so not as confident as I was before with them - I did have an incident where the beepers on previous vehicle were dirty and slow to switch on though so overall I prefer the cameras - I find they stay clean longer than my previous rear camera too
