New software downloads

Hi all, another thread prompted a question in my mind that I guess was there to start with...

When you connect to the car, you drop the wifi (home/work/etc.) and that's great, until it comes time to download the new update... Can this be downloaded on another (not count against your 3G download) network, say home or work? If not, that's a pretty big design flaw in my books...

More info: For those of you who don't know, in Australia we have pathetic download limits that iPhone 5's seem to chew through every month without any user input whatsoever...

If and when they are released they are contained in the "PHEV Remote control APP" - so the APP would update in the usual way and the next time you log on to the car it would suggest transferring the update....

Mine did that as soon as I got the car and first logged on (beginning of August 2014) - nothing since....
